I had a requirement to migrate some of my custom development work from 11.5.10.2 to R12.None of my pages worked as it was using multi org views on the background.I found a way to overcome this issue and made my pages to work in Oracle R12.

Below are the steps:

1) Create a custom responsibility.
2) Set the MO: Security Profile to null at Responsibility level.
3)  Set the MO: Operating Unit to your Operating Unit.

To use the single operating unit mode, you must set the value for the “Initialization SQL Statement%Custom profile” to “begin mo_global.init(’S',null); end;”. This initializes the operating unit context based on the “MO: Operating Unit” profile option and the “MO: Security Profile” profile option must not be set.
